Yeah.
That's what I love most about zutara.
Too much fluff kills it.
Needs more items dark and intriguing.
You may regard this as zutara-reversed "Crossroads of destiny" finale (Book 2, ep.20, when Katara was all so Pietà about Aang deadly injured by Azula).
But I personally think the backstory here is that Aang went on an avatar-state rampage and did it...
Whatever as long as it's zutara.
Katara's exhausted and can't heal anymore.
And I'm in love with the glance-upwards pose.
