And I also feel something dark and infinitely sorrowful about them; which is far worse if I just felt something akin to "wow; cool; funny pairing"
Who knows why we're both feeling this strange way
But this makes me wonder; and thus; investigate moar into the matter!
Well, if we are both feeling it, then... it might be our intimate knowledge of all things Naruto (their past history, their depressing childhoods, their psychotic outbreaks, their broken hearts, etc) or something else entirely. Both never really connected with those they loved most (Tsunade & Yahiko). They had brief moments (w/ T & Y), but their longing was never satisfied. It is perhaps because of this as well as your color scheme that such a heart-wrenching, and dismal portrayal of love never obtained, then brought together in intimacy that I find so saddening. It is like a rainy tragedy of shunned love, then found in a hopeless place which reminds me of a song, but that song is upbeat in a downer kinda way... type of thing. idk its just sad
Thoughts?
Mostly because I'm very tempted to believe Orochi did have that unrequited (and never even voiced aloud) feeling for the Godaime - sometime in their youth; but somehow this could have turned into pure hate afterwards; when their paths diverged entirely.
(And if the Minato-as-son-of-JiraTsu theory is right; then Oro has even more reasons for anger
I however am inclined to think Orochi (in the best days of Sannin's youth) had almost equal tender feelings for the both of his teammates; but he hardly ever (never) bothered to risk at expressing them
Nonetheless; my musings aside; I find your words:
dismal portrayal of love never obtained, then brought together in intimacy
being particularly touching and no less heart-wrenching than the initial concept
Understanding is just another name for happiness; that's what I know for sure.
So thank you so much for understanding all of this
Thank you, even if it is heart-wrenching.
If that is what you know and believe, then you are kindly welcome to all the understanding I have to offer
Thank you for sharing this... challenging artwork
